There’s a new master of the house at Rue Plumet. Peter Lockyer has joined the national tour cast of Les Misérables as Jean Valjean. A veteran of the hit Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg musical, Lockyer is also joined by new cast members Timothy Gulan, Lauren Wiley and Jason Forback as Thenardier, Cosette and Enjolras, respectively.

Lockyer previously played the part of Marius in Broadway's 10th anniversary production of the musical. He has also been seen on Broadway in South Pacific, The Phantom of the Opera, Baz Luhrmann’s La Bohéme, Miss Saigon and Cyrano The Musical. He appeared in the TV version of Gypsy, starring Bette Midler.

The cast of Les Miserables also includes Andrew Varela as Javert, Max Quinlan as Marius, Betsy Morgan as Fantine and Shawna Hamic as Madame Thenardier.

Les Miserables is a story of love, courage and redemption now being told in a newly imagined production featuring new sets and costumes. The sweeping Boublil and Schönberg score contains the signature numbers “I Dreamed a Dream” and “On My Own.”
