What's it like to get in character for The Lion King? KHOU News anchor Ron Trevino found out firsthand when he went backstage at Houston's Hobby Center, where Disney's Tony Award-winning musical is running through August 12, to get a Pridelands makeover from makeup artist Jennifer Ivey. Watch the video below to see Trevino transform into the villainous Scar, a routine that takes approximately 30 minutes and begins with gluing the newsman's eyebrows down. “That’s pretty scary,” the Trevino said, upon witnessing his morphed face.
