The beloved characters of Peter Pan get an adventure-filled backstory in Peter and the Starcatcher. The national tour of the Tony-nominated play will open at Sarofim Hall at the Hobby Center on October 15. Before you head to the theater, get the scoop from the show’s stars. John Sanders plays Black Stache, the villain of the show who is better known to the world as Captain Hook. In the video below, Sanders talks about Starcatcher’s “ultra-imaginative” style, the special effects and why Black Stache is “not the Captain Hook that we all know.” Peter and the Starcatcher will play Houston through October 20.
