  • When do tickets go on sale?
  • The single ticket on sale date for HAMILTON has not yet been announced.
  • Where can I purchase tickets?
  • The authorized ticketing agents for HAMILTON’s run at the Hobby Center will be: in person at the Hobby Center Box Office, online at www.thehobbycenter.orgwww.BroadwayAtTheHobbyCenter.com, or www.ticketmaster.com. Beware of buying from secondary ticketing sites.

    Important notes to share about secondary ticketing sites:

    The resale of event tickets in Texas is legal. You may well find event tickets on sale at ticket brokers. Though brokers are never the primary sales point, they access tickets by purchasing them in the same way as the consumer. Please keep in mind, when you buy from a broker:
    • We cannot be responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third parties.
    • We cannot replace your tickets if they are lost or stolen.
    • We cannot issue a refund to you in case of an event cancellation.
    • We cannot guarantee that your tickets are valid and therefore, cannot guarantee admittance.
    • You may be paying much more than the ticket’s face value.
    • We cannot contact you with information regarding time changes, show cancellations or other information.
  • How can I find out when tickets will go on sale?
  • We recommend you stay tuned to the Broadway at the Hobby Center and Hobby Center social media accounts, along with www.BroadwayAtTheHobbyCenter.org or www.thehobbycenter.org for ticketing announcements.
  • How much will tickets cost?
  • Ticket prices have not yet been announced.
  • Will there be a ticket limit?
  • Yes, but specific details will be announced at a later date.
  • Are there group sales available if I want to purchase more than the ticket limit?
  • We are not accepting group sales requests for HAMILTON.
  • Can I get on a waiting list for tickets?
  • Unfortunately, there is no waiting list for HAMILTON tickets. We encourage you to check back regularly at www.BroadwayAtTheHobbyCenter.comwww.thehobbycenter.org, or www.ticketmaster.com.
  • Will there be a lottery?
  • Yes, there will be a Ham4Ham lottery, though the details have yet to be announced. The best way to be informed about how the lottery will work is to follow Broadway at the Hobby Center and/or the Hobby Center on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, along with keeping an eye on the www.BroadwayAtTheHobbyCenter.com  and www.thehobbycenter.org websites.
  • Are there any discounts available?
  • There are no discounts for any tickets for HAMILTON.
  • How will I receive my tickets?
  • Season subscribers already received their tickets in the subscriber ticket packet mailed prior to the start of the season. Subscribers who elected eTickets MUST present their HAMILTON tickets on a mobile device for entry to the theater. Unlike other shows in your season, eTickets for Hamilton cannot be printed at home from your subscriber account. Screenshots or pictures of tickets will not be accepted.

    Single ticket buyers can select either mobile delivery or mail delivery when purchasing tickets. Single ticket buyers who select mobile delivery MUST present their HAMILTON tickets on a mobile device for entry to the theater. Screenshots, pictures of tickets and PDFs will not be accepted.

    If you misplaced your tickets they cannot be reprinted until the day of the performance, 1.5 hours prior, at the Box Office Will Call window at the Hobby Center. Tickets will be held under the original account-holder name and a valid matching photo ID is required for pick up. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you require replacement tickets to be held at Will Call, please call:

  • What if I need to exchange or refund my tickets?
  • Single ticket buyers: Unfortunately, there are no exchanges or refunds for HAMILTON. Be sure to check the following information before completing your purchase: show title, day, date, time of performance, and number of tickets.

    Subscribers: Refunds are not available. Due to the popular nature of this engagement, exchange options will be limited. It is recommended you make exchanges as soon as possible. Ticket exchanges must be completed prior to the general public on-sale. After that date, exchanges will not be available.
  • What is the running time for HAMILTON?
  • Running time is 2 hours and 45 minutes including intermission.
  • Is there an age requirement?
  • HAMILTON is appropriate for ages 10+ since there is some strong language. Every patron, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
  • Is the original Broadway cast performing in the tour?
  • The Houston production of HAMILTON is part of the national tour and features the nationally touring cast. Casting for the tour reflects the same talent, attention to detail and high quality as the Broadway production.

  • Will there be Open Caption, Audio Described and ASL performances?
  • Audio Described Performances: Sunday April 29, May 6 & 13 at 2 p.m.
    Open Captioned Performances: Saturday April 28 at 2 p.m., Sunday May 6 & 13 at 7:30 p.m.
    American Sign Language Interpreted Performance: Sunday May 6 at 7:30 p.m.
