The Hobby Center
The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, located in the heart of downtown Houston, stands as the premiere entertainment complex in the Houston Theater District.
Two acoustically distinguished theaters, an impressive grand lobby, a contemporary American cuisine restaurant and convenient parking create a first-class setting in which to enjoy acclaimed theatrical performances and special events.
The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts is managed and operated by the Hobby Center Foundation, formerly known as the Houston Music Hall Foundation. The Foundation is organized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Patron drop off can be accommodated at the front of the building in the valet driveway, both before and after performances.
Accessible parking is available on all levels of the Hobby Center Parking Garage, with convenient elevator access.
Accessible Seating for wheelchair and limited mobility needs are available on all levels of the theater. Please specify your need for this seating when purchasing tickets. Patrons can purchase these tickets online at www.BroadwayAtTheHobbyCenter.com or www.Ticketmaster.com by selecting the “ADA Seating” filter on the seat map, calling 800.982.2787, or by visiting the Hobby Center Box Office in person during regular business hours.
Assistive Listening Devices amplify and clarify sound and are available at all performances. Infrared assistive listening systems are installed in the theater and headsets may be used at any seat. Assistive Listening System headsets are available on a first-served basis at the Accessibility Kiosk in the Grand Lobby and Mezzanine. A photo ID must be given in exchange for an Assistive Listening Device, and will be returned at the end of the performance once the device is brought back.
HCPA Access Team members are available to assist patrons who have accessibility needs. They are stationed at valet, near the garage, and in the breezeway. Look for these volunteers in their bright yellow polos!
